Responsibilities

As the administrative head of Mille Lacs County, the County Administrator is responsible for supervising all county institutions and agencies, coordinating the various activities of the county, and unifying management of the county's affairs. This involves the execution of:

  • All decisions, policies, ordinances, and resolutions of the County Board
  • All laws of the state required to be enforced by the County Board

Administrative Services is also responsible for the prudent management of fiscal resources. 

Departments reporting directly to the County Administrator include: 

  • Community and Veterans Services
  • Land Services
  • Public Works

Staff to County Board

The Administrative Services Office serves as staff to the County Board to:

  • Assist with constituent services
  • Develop policy proposals
  • Prepare agendas
  • Provide general support
  • Record official Board proceedings
