Mille Lacs County Communications Center

The Mille Lacs County Communications Center (MLCC) is located in the law enforcement center at the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s and is under the direction of the Mille Lacs County Sheriff. The MLCC is the Mille Lacs County Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and handles all 911 calls originating in Mille Lacs County. The MLCC is staffed 24 hours, 365 days by 10 full-time and two part-time 911 Emergency Dispatchers.

Public Safety Dispatching

The MLCC also provides public safety dispatching service for four law enforcement agencies, and five fire departments, and the Mille Lacs Health System Ambulance Service. The 911 Emergency Dispatchers also answer administrative calls for the Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office and other agencies within the County depending on the time of day, and day of the week.
